Video Walk Maria Lassnig

 Project work with David Bregenzer, Juan Dietz and Katja Meile

The video walk Maria Lassnig takes visitors through the exhibition, guided by a video on a smartphone, allowing them to hear statements by Maria Lassnig and confronting them with open questions on the themes of her work. Inspired by Janet Cardiff's video walk at Dokumenta 13, a tour through the exhibition rooms was filmed, leading visitors to selected works of art. With each work, statements by Maria Lassnig and related thematic questions become audible, which are presented to the visitors as an offer to reflect on Maria Lassnig's oeuvre in terms of content and aesthetics.
